Eligibility Details
Essential Qualifications & Experience (Officers under Central Govt/State Govt/UT/PSUs/Universities/Recognized Research Institutions):
Candidates must be officers:
- Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department; OR
- With five years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the post in Pay Band-3 Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 7600 or equivalent; OR
- With ten years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in the Pay Band-3, Rs. 15600-39100 plus Grade Pay Rs. 6600 or equivalent.
AND Possessing:
- Education: Degree in Architecture from a recognized University/Institute.
- Experience: 11 years experience in Government Organizations/Department/PSU/Autonomous Institution.
- Registration: Registered with the Council of Architecture.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Post Graduate Degree in Architecture or Degree or Diploma in Town/City/Urban/Regional Planning from a recognized University.
- One year experience in Town Planning/Civic Designing/Building Control Regulations.
- Fellowship of the Indian Institute of Architect or membership of a professional Institute.
- Six months Certificate/Diploma Course in Auto Cad, Archl. Cad, Revit.
Age Criteria:
The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation (ISTC) shall not be exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application. The maximum period of deputation (ISTC) including previous ex-cadre deputation in the same or another organization shall ordinarily not exceed five years.

Deadline: Within 45 days from the date of publication of the Vacancy Notice (Approx. 2026-03-15).

Required Documents (Must be attached):
- Statement of Bio-data in the prescribed Proforma (Annexure-l) in duplicate, duly signed by the Volunteering Officer.
- Vigilance clearance certificate.
- Integrity certificate.
- Statement of penalty (Major/Minor) imposed if any.
- ACR dossier or ACRs for the last five years (attested photocopies).

Important Conditions
- Incomplete applications or those without the complete set of essential documents shall be rejected.
- Candidates applying for the post will not be allowed to withdraw their candidature subsequently.
- Departmental Officers in the feeder category eligible for direct promotion shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment on Deputation/Absorption.
Terms and Conditions of Appointment
- Selected officers are entitled to DA, Special compensatory allowance, and Island Special Allowance as admissible.
- Rent free unfurnished accommodation subject to general review is provided.
- Free sea passage once in a year for self and family members during leave, as per rules.
- Deputation allowance as admissible under rules.
- Selected officers have the option to fix pay in the deputation post or draw pay of the parent post plus deputation allowances.
Mode of Selection
Selection will be based on the documents/CV submitted and assessed by the Selection Committee.
