    Eligibility Details

    Essential Qualifications & Experience:

    • Pass in 10th Standard from a Recognised Board.
    • Possession of a valid Driving License for Motor Car.
    • Experience of driving motor car for at least three years.

    Desirable Qualification:

    • Three years service as Home Guard or Civil Volunteers.

    Age Criteria:

    Age Limit: Between 18-25 Years as on the closing date (26/02/2026).

    Age Relaxation: Relaxable for Government Servants, Ex-servicemen as per rules, and up to 40 years for Central Government employees with three years regular and continuous service.

    Important Conditions

    • The cut-off date for calculating age and completion of eligibility conditions is 26/02/2026.
    • Candidates can apply for only one Region (Southern/Western).
    • Application fee payment must be successful by the closing date for the application to be considered complete.
    • Candidates working in Central Govt./State Govt./PSU/Autonomous bodies must furnish 'NOC' at the time of the Skill Test.
    • Uploading of irrelevant documents may lead to rejection.

    Mode of Selection

    Selection involves two stages:

    1. Written Examination (Objective Type - OMR based/Computer Based): Consisting of 120 MCQs covering General Awareness, General Intelligence & Maths, General English/Hindi, and subjects related to driving duty/mechanics. Qualifying cut-off is 25% for General and EWS categories.
    2. Skill Test: Qualifying in nature, testing driving skills, motor mechanics, and traffic rules knowledge. Only candidates shortlisted based on written test merit (05 candidates per 01 vacancy ratio) will be called.

    Final Selection: Based purely on merit secured in the Written Examination among those who qualify the Skill Test. Merit lists are prepared Region-wise.
