Eligibility Details
Eligibility Criteria (For Deputation)
Applicants must be officials currently working in the Central Government / State Government / Union Territories / Autonomous/Statutory Bodies/Public Sector Undertakings under the Central / State Government and must satisfy one of the following:
- (i) Holding an Analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre in Pay Level 7 in the Pay Matrix (Pre-revised Pay Band PB-2 ₹9300-34800 plus GP ₹4600/-). OR
- (ii) Having 5 years regular service in Pay Level -6 in the Pay Matrix (Pre-revised Pay Band PB-2 ₹9300-34,800 plus GP ₹4200/-).
AND possessing following educational qualifications and experience:
- (i) CA/CMA with 3 years' experience in Accounting/Auditing/Finance OR
- (ii) CA(Inter)/CMA(Inter)/Master's degree in Commerce or equivalent with 5 years' experience in Accounting/Auditing/Finance.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.
Application Details
Deadline: Within thirty days from the date of its publication in Employment news (Calculated as 2026-03-04).
Method of Application: Offline, by forwarding applications through the proper channel.
Required Documents (to be forwarded with Annexure-II):
- Photocopy of complete and up-to-date attested Annual Performance Appraisal Reports (APARs) for the last 5 years, attested by an officer not below the rank of Under Secretary or equivalent.
- Integrity Certificate (Annexure-III).
- Details of minor or major penalties imposed during the last 10 years (Annexure-IV, if applicable).
- Vigilance Clearance Certificate.
Important Conditions
- Appointment will be on deputation basis for a period of three years.
- Selected officers can opt to draw either the deputation post's pay or their parent cadre pay plus deputation allowance, as per existing rules.
- The period of deputation (including previous ex-cadre posts) shall not exceed 2 years, according to one condition mentioned. (Note: There are conflicting conditions regarding deputation period; the DOPT rules mentioned govern the terms).
- Incomplete applications or applications received after the last date will not be considered.
