Eligibility Details
Educational Qualification
- Option A: Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
- Option B: Master’s degree in Maths/Computer/Physics/Statistics with specialization in Hydrology OR Post Graduate in Hydrology / Water Resources or equivalent.
Experience & Service Requirements (For Deputation)
Candidates must be officers currently serving under the Central/State Govt., PSUs, or Autonomous Organizations and must satisfy one of the following:
- Holding an analogous post on a regular basis; OR
- Having 5 years of regular service in Level-11 (Rs. 67700-208700) or equivalent.
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: Not exceeding 56 years as of the closing date (18.02.2026).

Important Conditions
- The tenure for deputation will ordinarily not exceed 3 years.
