    Eligibility Details

    • Qualifications, Pay Scales, and other Conditions for the advertised positions shall be in accordance with the UGC Regulations-2018/AICTE-2019/PCI notification No. 14-163/2021-PCI/12730, date: 08.08.2022 and U.P. State Government's rules.
    • Candidates must satisfy themselves that they possess the Essential Qualifications laid down in the Advertisement before applying.
    • Minimum API/Research Score requirements are stipulated for Associate Professor (Minimum 75) and Professor (Minimum 120).
    • For Assistant Professor, selection involves a written objective examination of 40 points based on the syllabus of NET/GATE/GPAT depending on the discipline.
    • Candidates awarded Ph.D. from foreign Universities must enclose an Equivalence Certificate from the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi, unless exempted.
    • Age criteria may apply as per policy.

    Application Details

    • Online Application Start Date: 14 January, 2026
    • Last Date for Online Application Submission: 23 February, 2026
    • Last Date for Receiving Hard Copy: 28 February, 2026 (within 05 days from online submission deadline).
    • Application Fee: Rs. 2500/- (Rs. 2000/- for SC/ST candidates only), payable online. Fee is non-refundable.
    • Application Method: The process is strictly online, but a hard copy of the filled application along with scanned copies of supporting documents must be submitted via Registered/Speed post to The Registrar, CSJMU, Kalyanpur, Kanpur -208024 (UP).
    • Required Documents for Submission (Hard Copy): Duly signed hard copy of the application form, scanned copies (PDF) of all supporting documents for eligibility, achievements, publications (first page proof), mark sheets, certificates, etc.

    Important Conditions

    • The University reserves the right to withdraw advertised posts or not fill up any advertised positions.
    • Experience and Qualifications will be reckoned as on the last date of submission of the online application form.
    • SC/ST candidates must enclose a Caste Certificate on the prescribed U.P. Government format.
    • OBC (Non-creamy Layer) candidates must enclose a Caste/Income Certificate on the prescribed U.P. Government format, issued on or after 01 October, 2025.
    • EWS candidates must submit a certificate on the prescribed U.P. Government format, issued on or after 01 October, 2025.
    • Candidates already employed must submit a No Objection Certificate, preferably at the time of online submission, and mandatory before the interview.
    • No Interim Correspondence shall be entertained.

    Mode of Selection

    Selection criteria involve weightages for Basic Academic Score/API Score, a written test (for Assistant Professor), assessment of teaching skills, and interview, as detailed in Annexure-1.
