Eligibility Details
The eligibility criteria for the post are as per Recruitment Rules of NITs (2019) and as updated from time to time by the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India. Applicants are advised to refer to the Institute website (http://www.svnit.ac.in) for detailed Educational Qualifications, Experience, and other requirements (referencing ANNEXURE-I).
- Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 35 years as of the last date of online submission. Age relaxation for PwD/Ex-Servicemen is applicable as per Government of India norms.
- Crucial Date for Age: The last date for submission of online applications (06.03.2026) will be used to determine the maximum age limit.
- Experience: Experience rendered on part-time basis/daily wages/visiting/guest faculty will not be counted for shortlisting.

After successful online submission, candidates must download, sign, self-attest required documents, and send the hard copy via Speed/Registered Post to the Registrar, SVNIT, Ichchhanath, Dumas Road, Surat – 395 007, Gujarat, ensuring it reaches by 13.03.2026.
Application Fee:
- SC, ST, PwD, and Female candidates are exempted upon submission of valid certificates.
- Other categories must pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs.1000 (Rupees One Thousand only).

Important Conditions
- Candidates who applied against Advertisement No. Estt./2023-24/Gr_A (MO)/4582 dated 12.03.2024 must apply afresh.

- Incomplete applications or those received after the due date will be rejected.
- Data of shortlisted/non-shortlisted candidates will be retained up to six months after recruitment completion.
