    The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Kolkata, an Institute of National Importance under the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India, invites applications for engagement in its Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Flow Chemistry and Continuous Manufacturing. Exciting opportunities are available for dedicated professionals to join this centre on a temporary contractual basis, starting with a duration of 1 year, extendable up to 3 years based on performance, for roles ranging from Research Associate (I & II) to Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

    Details of Position

    The engagement for all positions is purely contractual and initially for a duration of 1 year.

    • Research Associate-I: 01 Position. Upper Age Limit: 35 years. Salary: 58,000/- +HRA
    • Research Associate-II: 01 Position. Upper Age Limit: 40 years. Salary: 61,000/- +HRA
    • Chief Executive Officer (CEO): 01 Position. Upper Age Limit: 45 years. Salary: 1,00,000/- +HRA

    Eligibility Details

    Job Description for RA-I & RA-II: The candidate should develop new formulations in a laboratory using continuous and traditional batch processes, write manuscripts for scientific publications, and perform other assigned research work.

    • Research Associate-I Requirements: First-class Master's degree (M. Pharm/ M.S. (Pharm)/M. Tech) in Pharmaceutics/ Quality Assurance/ Industrial Pharmacy with 03 years of experience in Academic/Industry Research/ product design and development with at least one research paper in SCI journal. Experience in solid oral dosage forms is desirable.
    • Research Associate-II Requirements: Ph.D in Pharmaceutics/ Industrial Pharmacy with 02 years of experience in Academic/Industry Research/ product design and development with at least one research paper in SCI journal. Experience in solid oral dosage forms is desirable.

    Job Description for CEO: Managing the project-related work, collaborating with industries and transfer of technologies, designing the projects, training the academic and industrial researchers on Continuous manufacturing, planning for generating revenue for the centre and performing other assigned work.

    • Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Requirements: PhD in Pharmaceutics/Pharmaceutical Sciences/relevant field with a minimum of 05 years of research experience (out of which 02 years should be in solid oral dosage forms development activities in the industry) OR M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics / Quality Assurance / Industrial Pharmacy with 10 years of research experience (out of which 05 years should be in solid oral dosage forms development activities in the industry). Candidates having patents and publications in continuous manufacturing/relevant technologies/formulations are highly desirable.

    Age criteria may apply as per policy.
