    Eligibility Details

    Scientist E (Direct Recruitment)

    • Essential: B.E/B.Tech/M.Sc. or equivalent in Physics/ Chemistry/ Material Sciences/ Metallurgy/ Ceramics/ Chemical Engineering/Nano materials with 12 years R&D/industry experience; OR M.E/M.Tech in relevant field with 10 years experience; OR Ph.D. in relevant field with 8 years experience.
    • Relevant Field: Proven track record in patents, publications, projects independently in electronic materials (Ultra-high purity metals, SiC semiconductors, refractory metals, extraction of precious metals from E-waste, semiconductor single crystal growth technique & device fabrication, Rare-earth permanent magnets, simulation of materials/metal-metal alloy formulation/ special electronic materials).
    • Note: Candidates with patents/technology transfers or those who availed prestigious postdoctoral fellowship are preferred.

    Programme Coordinator (Direct Recruitment)

    • Essential: B.E/B.Tech/M.Sc. or equivalent in relevant fields with 10 years experience; OR M.E/M.Tech in relevant field with 8 years experience; OR Ph.D. in relevant field with 5 years experience.
    • Desirable: Experience in Production Management/ Marketing/ Business Management.

    Scientist C (Direct Recruitment)

    • Essential: B.E/B.Tech/M.Sc. or equivalent in relevant fields with 8 years experience; OR M.E/M.Tech in relevant field with 6 years experience; OR Ph.D. in relevant field with 2 years experience.
    • Relevant Field: Proven track record in patents, publications, projects independently in electronic materials (Ultra-high purity metals, SiC semiconductors, refractory metals, extraction of precious metals from E-waste, semiconductor single crystal growth technique & device fabrication, Rare earth permanent magnets, simulation of materials/metal-metal alloy formulation/ special electronic materials).

    Scientist B (Direct Recruitment)

    • Essential: B.E/B.Tech/M.Sc. or equivalent in relevant fields with 5 years experience; OR M.E/M.Tech in relevant field with 3 years experience; OR Ph.D. in relevant field (No post-qualification experience required).
    • Desirable: Publications in reputed journals/patents.

    Finance Officer (Direct Recruitment)

    • Essential (a): MBA (Finance)/ PG DM (Finance)/ MMS (Finance)/ M.Com from recognized University/ Institution/ SAS (IAAD/ICAD) with 3 years' experience; OR Graduate in Commerce with 6 years' experience.
    • Essential (b): Experience must be in a supervisory capacity in Accounts/Finance Budgeting Audits in a Government Office /PSU/ Autonomous Bodies/ Statutory Bodies.

    Administrative Officer (Direct Recruitment)

    • Essential (a): Post Graduate Degree in any discipline/Post Graduate Diploma in Management with 3 years relevant work experience; OR Graduate in any discipline with 6 years' experience.
    • Essential (b): Experience must be in a supervisory capacity in Administration/Establishment, vigilance in any Government office/PSU/ Autonomous Bodies.
    • Desirable: Graduate degree in Law; Experience in Purchase & stores management.

    Scientific Assistant - IV (Direct Recruitment)

    • Essential: Post Graduation in Physics / Chemistry/ Material Science / Nano materials OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering in Chemical / Metallurgical / Ceramics / Nano Materials / Mechanical / Electronics (as per lab requirement) or equivalent.
    • Desirable: 2 years' experience in R&D Projects in relevant field.

    General Eligibility Note: The candidate must be a citizen of India. Eligibility with respect to age, qualification and experience shall be determined as on the last date of receipt of application (28.02.2026).

    Age Relaxation: Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC-NLC category candidates shall be allowed for posts reserved for the respective categories over and above the upper age limit indicated above. PwBD candidates receive further relaxation as per Govt. rules.

    • Application Fee (for Direct Recruitment/Absorption/Deputation):
      • Group A Posts: General/OBC/EWS: ₹800/-; SC/ST/PwBD/Women: ₹400/-
      • Group B Posts: General/OBC/EWS: ₹800/-; SC/ST/PwBD/Women: ₹400/-
      • No application fee for deputation posts.

    • Required Documents (Must be attached): Educational certificates (SSC, Intermediate, Diploma, UG, PG, PhD, consolidated mark sheets), Birth Certificate/High School certificate, Valid Category certificate (OBC-NCL/EWS certificates issued on or after 01.02.2025), Experience certificates (on letterhead with date, tenure, nature of duties), Salary certificates (with gross salary breakup), NOC from current employer (if applicable, otherwise undertaking), and required Proficiency certificates. For Deputation, Annexure-I (Certificate by the Employer) is mandatory.

    Important Conditions

    • Candidates must fill out only one application for one particular post, irrespective of the place of posting.
