Eligibility Details
Senior Instrument Officer (Chemistry)
- Essential (Option 1): Ph.D. in Chemistry + Eight years experience in operation/data analysis/maintenance/repairing of sophisticated instruments (NMR, MASS, EPR, IR, CD, ORD, GC-MS, UV-Vis) in a Chemical/Physical laboratory.
- Essential (Option 2): M.Sc. Degree in Chemistry + Twelve years experience in the operation, data analysis, maintenance and repairing of sophisticated instruments in a Chemical/Physical laboratory.
- Desirable: One year Diploma in Computer applications.
Junior Instrument Officer (Chemistry)
- Essential (Option 1): Ph.D. degree in Chemistry + Four years experience in instrument operation/data analysis/maintenance/repairing.
- Essential (Option 2): M.Sc. Degree in Chemistry with at least 50% marks + Six years experience in instrument operation/data analysis/maintenance/repairing.
- Desirable: One year Diploma in computer Applications.
Senior Scientific Officer (Physics)
- Essential (Option 1): Ph.D. degree in Physics + Five years' experience of teaching and research (excluding research degree period).
- Essential (Option 2): M.Sc. Degree in Physics + Eight years' experience of teaching and research (excluding research degree period).
- Desirable: Contribution to educational innovation/design of new courses/curricula/experience of laboratory development with computer application knowledge.

- Essential: B.Tech. (Electronics) or equivalent with one year experience in the relevant field after obtaining degree.
- Desirable: Professional experience in Electronics circuits and systems; Micro-computers, Microprocessors and Digital Systems; Working knowledge of modern instrumentation system.
Mechanical Engineer (Physics)
- Essential: B.E./B.Tech. (Mechanical Engineering) with one year experience in the relevant field after obtaining degree.
- Desirable: Experience of designing and repairing laboratory equipments.
Assistant Nursing Superintendent (J.N. Medical College Hospital)
- Essential: Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery/ B.Sc. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Degree + Registered as Nurse and Midwife + Five years experience as Ward Sister after Diploma/Degree from a registered Hospital.
- Desirable: Computer Knowledge.
Casualty Medical Officer (J.N. Medical College Hospital)
- Essential: MBBS + Post Graduate degree or Diploma in a Clinical subject + One year experience as Resident or Registrar from a registered Teaching Hospital.
- Desirable: One year experience of Casualty and Medico Legal Work; Computer Knowledge.
Medical Officer (Blood Bank) (J.N. Medical College Hospital)
- Essential (Option 1): MBBS + Post Graduate degree in Pathology + One year experience as Blood Transfusion Officer or Three years experience in a Blood Bank of a Teaching Hospital.
- Essential (Option 2): MBBS + Five years experience as Blood Transfusion Officer or Five years experience in a Blood Bank of a Teaching Hospital.
- Desirable: Training Certificate of Blood Transfusion; Knowledge of Computer Application.
Medical Officer (Modern Trauma Centre)
- Essential: MBBS + Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in a Clinical subject + One year experience as Resident or Registrar from a recognized Teaching Hospital.
- Desirable: MD/MS in General Surgery/Orthopedic Surgery/ Anaesthesiology/Medicine; Experience in Trauma Management, ACLS, CTL; Experience of Casualty work & Medico legal work; Computer Knowledge.
Deputy Nursing Superintendent (Modern Trauma Centre)
- Essential: Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife + Diploma in Nursing Education and Administration / B.Sc. (Nursing)/Post Basic Degree in Nursing + Five years experience as Ward Sister.
- Desirable: Computer Knowledge; Experience of working as Deputy Nursing Superintendent or ANS in a reputed hospital having more than 500 beds.
University Health Officer (University Health Office)
- Essential: M.B.B.S. or Equivalent Medical Qualifications + At least three years' experience of Public Health Administration.
- Desirable: Postgraduate Diploma /Degree in Public Health.
Age criteria may apply as per policy, including relaxations for SC/ST/OBC (NCL), PwD, and existing AMU/Govt. employees. Relevant experience/qualification is reckoned as of the last date of application submission (30.03.2026).

Method: Applications must be submitted ONLY in the ONLINE MODE at https://careers.amuonline.ac.in. Following successful online submission, candidates must take a printout of the PDF, sign it, paste a photograph, and submit the self-attested hard copy along with mandatory documents by Speed Post or in person to the address mentioned below.

Important Conditions
- Application Fee: Rs. 500/- per application, payable online only. PwD candidates are exempted.
- Fee once received is non-refundable.
- Working candidates must apply through the PROPER CHANNEL and enclose an Experience & NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE.
- If the number of candidates is unmanageable, a Written Test of 100 Marks (shortlisting at 1:5 ratio for Interview) may be conducted.
