Eligibility Details
Assistant Registrar (Group A)
- Essential Qualification: Master's degree with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade point average.
- Essential Experience: 6 years relevant experience in Pay Level 06-1 or above or equivalent OR 3 years in Pay Level 07 and above or equivalent experience in one or more areas: Legal, Finance and Accounts Establishment, Materials Management, Academics, Student Welfare, R&D, Secretarial Services, Hostel Management etc.
- Desirable Experience: Familiarity and knowledge with working procedures of a higher technological/educational institution like IITs/CFTIs/IISERs/IISc/NITs and similar Central Government Institutions/Organizations. Good written and verbal communication skills and working experience in computerized environment.
Technical Assistant (Group C)
- Technical Assistant (Chemistry): Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Bachelor's degree with Chemistry as main subject with at least 60% marks or its equivalent CGPA.
- Technical Assistant (CSE): Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering with at least 60% marks or its equivalent CGPA.
- Technical Assistant (Physics): Bachelor's degree in Physics with at least 60% marks or its equivalent CGPA.
- Technical Assistant (Mechanical): 3-year Diploma in Mechanical, Production or Manufacturing Engineering with at least 60% marks or its equivalent with relevant experience of two years after the diploma. OR Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production or Manufacturing Engineering with at least 60% marks or its equivalent CGPA.
Age Criteria: The age limit shall be 57 years across all cadres for regular employees of the Institute. Relaxation up to a maximum of 57 years of age shall be given for applicants working in the Institute on a non-regular/contract basis, provided they have served the Institute for at least 05 years. Age relaxation as per Govt of India norms for reserved category applicants is applicable only if the vacancy(s) of the post is reserved for that particular category. Age relaxation to PwBD applicants (subject to a maximum 56 years of age) & Ex-servicemen is applicable as per rules.

Important Conditions
- Applicants must upload all relevant documents (photographs/documentary evidence) online; applications without these will be rejected summarily.
- If applying for more than one post, separate applications and fees must be submitted for each post.
- Candidates employed in Government/Semi Government/Autonomous Bodies/PSU etc. should process their application through the proper channel and submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) with vigilance clearance. Those unable to do so must submit an 'Advance Copy' application and undertake to produce the NOC at the time of interview/final selection.
- The institute reserves the right to change the number of positions or not to fill any advertised position.
- Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
Mode of Selection
For Pay Level 10 (Group A): A qualifying Written Test / any other evaluation process may be conducted. Final selection will be based solely on performance in the subsequent interview.
For Pay Level 04 (Group C): Selection will be based on a Written Test, which may include Written Test / Computer Based Test and/or Trade Test, as deemed fit.
Appointment is subject to being found medically fit as per Institute requirements.
