    Details of Position

    The positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the respective projects. Details of the available posts are as follows:

    • Project Associate-II (Under NMSHE project)

      • No. of Posts: 2
      • Emoluments (per month): ₹35,000 + 24% HRA (for 1st & 2nd year); ₹42,000 + 24% HRA (for 3rd, 4th, and 5th year)

    • Project Assistant (Under NMSHE project)

      • No. of Posts: 1
      • Emoluments (per month): ₹20,000 + 24% HRA (for 1st, 2nd & 3rd year); @₹23,000 + 24% HRA (for 4th and 5th year)

    • YP-II (Under MoEF&CC project)

      • No. of Posts: 2
      • Emoluments (per month): ₹42,000/- (Fixed)

    Eligibility Details

    Project Associate-II (Essential)

    • MSc/MTech/ME/MCA in computer science/ Information Technology/Atmospheric science/Geomatics / Geo-informatics / AI/ML/Atmospheric Science/ Data Science/ Data or System analytics/Agronomy/Plant Physiology/Soil Science/ soil and water conservation engineering/civil engineering/Economics/statistics/or equivalent from a recognized university/ institution with first class or >7.5% OGPA.
    • Master's Degree in the above subject with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor's degree.
    • Those with 3 years bachelor's degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET/ MHRD-GATE qualification or Ph.D in any of above disciplines (as per ICAR memorandum).

    Project Associate-II (Desirable)

    • Experience/Knowledge in 3D graphics/animation/ image processing, Configuring Web Map server, programming in R / IDL/ C#/ Python / Java script/Android and cloud computing/ web sources / GIS tools, 3D graphics/animation/ 3-D modeling, and knowledge in crop/hydrological/climate simulation models, econometric models and analysis of climate model data.

    Project Assistant (Essential)

    • Master's Degree (M.Sc./ME/M. Tech/MCA) in Geomatics/ Geo-informatics / computer applications/Data Science/AI/ML/Data Analytics/ Atmospheric sciences /RS-GIS/Agronomy/ pathology, entomology, or equivalent with first class or OGPA >6.0 from a recognized university / institution.

    Project Assistant (Desirable)

    • Knowledge of Satellite image processing, ArcGIS, Web GIS, GEE, and programming in Python/R/IDL/database management, hydrological, crop and pest modeling.

    YP-II (Essential)

    • MSc/M.Tech/ME/MCA or PhD in computer science/Information Technology/Data Analytics/Data Science/AI/ML/System or Data analysis/ Atmospheric Science/Agro-meterology/ Plant Physiology/Economics/ climate science/ or related equivalent with first class or OGPA >6.0 from a recognized university / institution. (Also for one post: Experience in talking field observations on crops, Handling of physiology equipment such as IRGA, canopy analyzer with some of above skills).

    General Age Limit

    Maximum age 35 years for PA-II/PA/YP-II (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women and three years for OBC).
