    Remuneration Details: Regular appointments are on the payscale of Rs. 50000-160000 linked to Industrial DA, including a cafeteria allowance at 35% of basic pay with annual increment. Total emoluments will be approximately Rs.94500/- per month, plus HRA as admissible (if not residing in Mumbai Port Authority quarters). Selected candidates will be governed by the New Contributory Pension Scheme. Benefits include leave, medical aid, and advances for house/car purchase.

    Eligibility Details

    Essential Qualifications & Experience:

    • (i) SSC or its equivalent.
    • (ii) Must have an advanced diploma from the National Fire Service College, or equivalent (*Equivalent means B. Tech/B.E. in Fire Engineering from a recognized University).
    • (iii) 5 years' practical experience in a responsible capacity in Fire Service.
    • (iv) Must possess knowledge of safety procedures, rules, and regulations.

    Age Limit:

    • Not over 40 years as on 01.02.2026 (Relaxable at the discretion of the Chairman in case of candidates otherwise well qualified).
    • For existing employees of any Major Port, the age limit is 55 years as per Regulation 9 of MbPT Employees (RSP) Regulations, 2010.
