Eligibility Details
Educational Qualification & Experience
- Mandatory Qualification: Ph.D. degree in the relevant/Allied/Interdisciplinary area, compliant with the First Statutes of NIT (Amendment Statutes, 2023), Schedule E.
- Associate Professor: Ph.D. mandatory + Minimum 6 years of teaching/research experience + Minimum 60 research publications.
- Professor: Ph.D. mandatory + Minimum 10 years of teaching/research experience + Minimum 60 research publications.
- Eligibility assessment is heavily dependent on the Credit Point System as per NIT Statutes.
Age Limit & Relaxation
