Eligibility Details
Educational Qualification
- Essential: Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
- Experience: Approximately 15 years of experience in a responsible administrative/managerial capacity within a road transport corporation, government department, or autonomous body. Experience should preferably be connected with investigation of complaints, holding enquiries, or vigilance work.
- Desirable: Experience in handling vigilance/disciplinary matters is desirable.
Mandatory Service Requirements
- Officers must currently hold an analogous post regularly or possess 5 years of regular service in Pay Band Rs. 15,600-39,100 with Grade Pay Rs. 7,600 (Level 12 in 7th CPC).
- Group A Central Government officers must be holding a rank not below Dy. Secretary to Govt. of India, possess an unblemished record, not currently be from DTC or have previously served as CVO in DTC, and have an APAR grading not lower than 'Very Good' for the last five years.
Age Limit
- Maximum age permitted is 54 years as of the closing date (03 April 2026).
