    Eligibility Details

    Essential Qualification and Experience:

    The post is to be filled By Deputation from officers under the Central Government or State Governments or Union Territories or Universities or Recognised Research Institutions or Public Sector Undertakings or Semi Government or Statutory or Autonomous organisations and other Government Bodies who meet the following criteria:

    Educational Qualification:

    • Bachelor's Degree of a recognised University or Institute.
    • AND Three years' experience in disciplinary and vigilance matters in a Government Department.

    Recruitment Options (By Deputation):

    Officers must meet one of the following:

    • (i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in parent cadre in the Level 10 of Pay Matrix (Rs.56100-177500) or equivalent. OR
    • (ii) With four years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the Level 8 of Pay Matrix (Rs.47600-151100) or equivalent. OR
    • (iii) With five years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the pay scale of Level-7 of Pay Matrix (Rs.44900-142400), AND Possessing the essential educational qualifications and essential experience stipulated in Column 7.

    Note on Age/Service:

    • Candidates more than 56 years of age as on the last date need not apply.
    • Applicants due to retire within two years from the closing date also need not apply.
    • Candidates should have more than two years of remaining service as on the closing date before superannuation in the parent department.

    Application Process Summary:

    1. Visit NHAI website (http://www.nhai.gov.in) and navigate to 'About Us' → 'Vacancies' → 'Current'.
    2. Click 'Online application' and then 'APPLY' to register (User ID, Password, Name, Contact details).
    3. Login and fill the complete application form, attaching scanned copies of photograph, digital signature, and necessary documents (max 1 MB per file, jpg/jpeg/png/gif/pdf).
    4. Verify details using 'preview' and 'Final Submit'.
    5. Download the generated PDF of the ONLINE Application Form.
    6. The printout must be forwarded by the Parent Department, along with the prescribed ‘Verification Certificate' and certified copies of APARs/ACRs for the last five (05) years, and vigilance clearance, reaching NHAI by 27.04.2026.

    Important Conditions

    • The posts carry all India service liability.
    • Selected candidates must not decline the offer of appointment; declining will disqualify them from future NHAI consideration for two years.
    • Canvassing or bringing influence will disqualify the candidature.
    • NHAI reserves the right to modify/withdraw/cancel any communication or selection process.
    • Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi only.
