    Details of Position

    The appointment for the post of Director General on deputation basis carries the following structure:

    Name of Post and Pay Scale Pay Matrix Level Eligibility Criteria (Officers of Central/State Govt.)
    Director General Level 15 (Rs.1,82,200-2,24,100)
    • (a) (i) holding analogous post on regular basis; OR (ii) with three years regular service in Pay Level-14 (Rs.1,44,200-2,18,200) or equivalent; AND
    • (b) Must be a person of integrity and outstanding ability with experience in investigation, and knowledge of accountancy, management, business, public administration, international trade, law or economics.

    Terms of Deputation: The period of deputation shall ordinarily not exceed three years, governed by DoPT O.M. No.6/8/2009-Estt. (Pay II) dated 17.06.2010.

    Eligibility Details

    • Eligibility: Applicants must be Officers of the Central Government or State Governments meeting the criteria detailed in the table above (analogous post or 3 years service at Pay Level-14/equivalent).
    • Competencies: Must possess integrity, outstanding ability, and experience in investigation, accountancy, management, business, public administration, international trade, law, or economics.
    • Age Limit: Maximum age limit for appointment shall not exceed fifty-eight years on the closing date of application receipt.

    Important Conditions
