Scale of Pay: Pay Matrix Level 7 of 7th CPC (Rs. 44,900 – 1,42,400) & other allowances as admissible under NCSM rules. Total emoluments at start shall be approximately Rs. 95,788.00 in A-1 cities, subject to change based on posting location.
Posting Location: Initial place of posting may be at any of the units under NCSM, carrying All India Transfer Liability.
Eligibility Details
Qualification & Work Experience for Security & Maintenance Officer:
- Any Graduate and must be a Retired Defence Force personnel (Army, Navy, Air Force) in Junior Commissioned rank or similar rank in Air Force / Navy. OR
- Retired Para Military / Police personnel (CISF, CRPF, BSF, RPF, SSB, State Police) in equivalent rank.
- Knowledge in fire safety measures and handling of firefighting equipment is desirable.
Job Description Highlights: Responsible for control over security, conservancy, firefighting, and gardening; planning, coordinating, and supervising Fire and EMS operations; inspecting buildings for fire hazards; responding to emergencies; ensuring proper deployment and alertness of security personnel; monitoring premises upkeep; and conducting periodic checks/mock drills.
Career Growth: Eligible for promotion to higher posts up to Pay Matrix Level 11 (Rs.67700-208700) after prescribed minimum eligibility periods, depending on vacancy and qualifications.
Age criteria may apply as per policy (General age limit is 45 years, relaxable as per extant GoI rules).
