    Eligibility Details

    Eligibility for Finance Officer (On Deputation)

    • Essential Qualification:
      • Master's Degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale.
      • Option A: At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in Academic Pay Level-11 and above OR with 8 years of service in Academic Pay Level-12 and above (including Associate Professor), along with experience relating to Finance and Accounting.
      • Option B: 15 years of experience, with 8 years as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post in the domain of Finance & Accounts.
    • Desirable Qualification:
      • Qualification in the area of Management or Law or ICWAI.
      • Experience in handling computerized administration and financial matters.
    • Desirable Skills:
      • Expertise in financial management and regulatory compliance (public/academic institutions).
      • Advanced proficiency in financial software (ERP/Tally), MS Excel, and IT-enabled accounting.
      • Strong leadership, analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.
      • In-depth understanding of rules (GFR, C&AG, Companies Act, Societies Registration Act).
    • Job Responsibilities:
      • Lead finance and accounting operations, develop strategies, and ensure financial sustainability.
      • Oversee internal controls, statutory audits, and compliance with government regulations.
      • Maintain financial reporting, manage statutory filings (C&AG, MCA, GST, Income Tax).
      • Manage funds, payroll, investments, procurement, and resource allocation.
      • Prepare Annual Accounts and Balance Sheet.
