Note: The relevant qualifications, experience, and other terms & conditions of selection are prescribed in Schedule 'E' of NITs Statutes amended 2017 and Gazette Notification dated 12th June 2023.
Eligibility Details
The Essential educational qualifications, experience, credit points, and other terms and conditions shall be as per Schedule 'E' of the NIT Statute, published in the Gazette of India on 24th July, 2017, 12th June 2023, and as updated from time to time by the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India.
- The minimum educational qualifications and desirable areas of specialization are provided in Annexure II on the institute's website.
- The scrutiny of applications will be strictly based on the minimum essential qualifications with areas of specialization of PhD degree as mentioned in Annexure-II.
- Candidates applying under OBC (NCL)/ EWS category must produce a valid certificate issued on or after 1st April 2025.
