    Details of Position

    Eligibility Details

    Essential Qualifications (As on 23.02.2026):

    • Graduate from a recognized University.
    • Typing speed of not less than 35 words per minute on Computer.
    • All educational qualifications must be from a Govt. of India recognized University/Institution/Board, with final results declared on or before the closing date for applications (23.02.2026).

    Age Limit:

    Applicant's age should not be below 18 years and over 32 years as on 01.01.2026 (Born not earlier than 02.01.1994 and not later than 01.01.2008). Age relaxation is permissible beyond the upper age limit for categories like SC/ST (5 years), OBC-NCL (3 years), and PwBD (10 to 15 years). There is no upper age limit for persons in regular service in this Court, subject to fulfilling educational qualification requirements.

    Examination Fee:

    • General/OBC-NCL/EWS candidates: Rs. 1500/- plus applicable transaction charges.
    • SC/ST/PwBD candidates: Rs. 1300/- plus applicable transaction charges.
    • Fee can be paid through UPI, Net Banking, or Credit/Debit card. Fee is non-refundable.

    Important Conditions

    • Candidates must possess valid certificates (caste, disability, EWS) issued on or before the cut-off date (23.02.2026) to claim reservation benefits.
    • Candidature is provisional until final verification by the Appointing Authority.
    • No off-line applications will be entertained.
    • Correction window allows two modifications/re-submissions, incurring charges (₹200 for the first time, ₹500 for the second time).

    Mode of Selection

    Selection is based on a four-stage process:

    1. Stage – I (Qualifying): Preliminary Examination (CBT Objective Type) - 120 Questions (120 Marks). Subjects cover English, General Awareness/Current Affairs, and Reasoning/Arithmetic Ability. Negative marking: 25% (0.25 Mark deduction). Qualifying Marks: General: 50% (60 Marks); Reserved: 45% (54 Marks).
    2. Stage – II (Merit Stage): Main (Descriptive) Examination (100 Marks, 120 Minutes) on Essay, Letter, Grammar, and Translation. Qualifying Marks: General: 50 Marks; Reserved: 45 Marks.
    3. Stage – III (Qualifying): English Typing Test (10 minutes, minimum 35 WPM).
    4. Stage – IV (Merit Stage): Interview (Maximum 15 Marks).

    The final select/merit list will be based on the aggregate marks of Stage II (Main Descriptive) and Stage IV (Interview).
