Scale of pay for deputation basis:
- (i) The deputationist shall have the option either to draw pay being drawn in the parent organization with deputation allowance and project allowance at 10% of Basic Pay each.
- (ii) To draw equivalent cadre IDA pay scale in CMRL with IDA, HRA and Cafeteria Allowance (20% of Basic Pay).
Eligibility Details
General Requirements:
- Nationality: Only Indian Nationals need to apply.
- Age Reference Date: Age, Qualification & experience stipulated should be as on 04-02-2026.
- Education (All Posts): Must be a B.E / B. Tech (Civil) graduate from a Govt. recognized University / Institute, approved by AICTE / UGC. M.E / M. Tech Graduate (Civil / Construction Management) is preferable.
Specific Experience Requirements:
- CGM/GM Level (Deputation): Officer from Organized Group A IRSE (Railways) or equivalent in Metro/GoI organization or Chief Engineer level in State Govt with minimum 25 yrs (CGM) / 20 yrs (GM) post-qualification experience in large Infrastructure/Underground/Elevated construction projects.
- CGM/GM Level (Contract): Minimum 25 yrs (CGM) / 20 yrs (GM) post-qualification experience in execution of large infrastructure projects, including experience in diaphragm wall construction, deep excavation, mass concrete works, and knowledge of Contract Management / FIDIC.
- AGM/JGM/DGM Level (Deputation): Experience required based on Grade (e.g., AGM needs 15 yrs in GoI SG Grade or 18 yrs in State Govt SE level).
- AGM/JGM/DGM Level (Contract): Minimum 17 yrs (AGM), 15 yrs (JGM), & 13 yrs (DGM) experience in execution of large infrastructure projects, including diaphragm wall/deep excavation experience.
- Manager/DM/AM Level (Contract): Minimum 07 yrs (Manager), 04 yrs (DM), & 02 yrs (AM) post-qualification experience in large infrastructure projects. Manager level requires minimum 05 years experience in Metro / Railway projects.
Relaxations:
- Age limit relaxation up to 5 years for SC/ST and 2 years for OBC/MBC/EBC.
- Age concession up to 10 years for Differently Abled Persons, provided they are suitable.
- Upper age relaxation for Ex-Servicemen includes length of service plus 03 years.
- Maximum age limit after all relaxations cannot exceed 58 years as on the notification date.

Important Conditions
- Eligibility is provisional and subject to verification at any stage. Furnishing incorrect information will lead to rejection or termination even after appointment.
- Contract appointments are initially for 2 years, subject to extension based on performance.
- Selected candidates on contract may be considered for IDA Pay Scale after 2 years based on performance and requirement.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

- Candidates attempting to influence the selection process will be summarily rejected and disqualified for future CMRL recruitments.
Mode of Selection
The selection methodology comprises of a two-stage process: interview followed by a medical examination. The process assesses knowledge, skills, comprehension, attitude, aptitude, and physical fitness.
