Job Description: Design and art layout of exhibition display including all kinds of exhibits; supervision over junior members of staff in execution of display work including layout, painting, screen printing, modelling, diorama making, photography, fibre glass work etc.
Career Growth: Candidates are eligible for promotion to next higher grades up to Pay Matrix Level 13A (Rs.131100-216600) after minimum residency period.
Eligibility Details
Qualification & Work Experience:
- A recognized 1st Class Degree in Fine/Commercial Art of 4 or 5 years duration OR Masters' degree in Visual Arts/Fine Arts/Commercial Arts.
- Minimum five years creative experience in design of exhibits and exhibitions.
Age Criteria:
- Maximum Age Limit: 35 Years (Relaxable as per extant rules of GoI).
- Relaxation in age limit will be allowed to SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-Serviceman and departmental candidates as per Govt. of India rules.
Application Details
Application Deadline: 31.03.2026 (Last Date of submission of online applications and fee payment)
Application Mode: Online mode only.
Application Fee: Rs. 1770.00 (Rupees One Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy Only) including GST.
Fee Exemption: Women candidates, SC, ST, PwD, and ESM candidates are exempted from application fee payment.
Required Documents for Upload (JPEG/JPG format): Self-attested scanned copies of all essential academic and experience certificates/testimonials/caste certificate/category certificate/NOC/other relevant documents (upto 200 KB). Recent colour passport size photograph (upto 100 KB) and scanned signature (upto 100 KB).
Note: Candidates presently working in Government/PSU/Autonomous Organizations must apply through proper channel or submit 'No Objection Certificate' (NOC).
Important Conditions
- The post carries All India transfer liability.
- Applications must be complete; incomplete applications due to non-receipt of fee will be summarily rejected.
- Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
- No change/correction/modification will be allowed after online form submission.
- Any canvassing or outside influence will lead to disqualification.
Mode of Selection
Selection involves a test and/or interview (decision of NCSM in this regard shall be final).
